The Bank of Khyber (BOK) is inviting applications from visionary and experienced technology leaders for the C-suite position of Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIDO).

Core Strategic Responsibilities
The CIDO will be responsible for the bank’s entire technology and digital ecosystem. Key duties include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive IT and digital strategy aligned with the bank’s long-term vision.
- Leading the integration of emerging technologies to enhance customer-centric solutions and operational efficiency.
- Driving the development of digital banking platforms, including mobile/online banking, APIs, and payment solutions.
- Ensuring all IT and digital services are compliant with regulatory standards set by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), including cybersecurity and data protection.
- Overseeing the bank’s technological infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and performance.
Candidate Profile: Eligibility Criteria
Experience:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in Information Technology and/or Digital Transformation within the Banking/Financial Services industry.
- At least 05 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
- Exemption: Candidates currently serving as the overall head of IT or Digital functions in a bank are exempt from the specific years of experience criteria.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISA, CISM, CISSP, ITIL, TOGAF, or COBIT will be an added advantage.
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences from an HEC-recognized university.
- Foreign degrees require an HEC equivalency certificate.
Location & Compensation
This executive role is based at the Bank of Khyber Head Office in Peshawar. A highly competitive, market-based remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate.
