Directorate General of Special Education Job Vacancies 2026, The Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE), operating under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, has officially invited online applications from Pakistani nationals for several regular positions. These posts are initially offered on a temporary basis but are part of a regular recruitment drive to strengthen the special education framework in Islamabad.

Vacant Positions and Qualification Criteria
The department is seeking qualified individuals for a diverse range of technical and administrative roles.
- Assistant (BS-15): There are 02 vacancies (ICT and Punjab quotas). Applicants must be graduates. A mandatory 6-week basic IT training course (including MS Office) by NITB will be required after selection.
- Junior Instructor (BS-14): 02 vacancies (ICT and Sindh-R quotas). Candidates must hold a Matriculation certificate along with a 3-year Diploma from a Polytechnic institute in Electrical, Mechanical, or Refrigeration and Air-conditioning.
- Vocational Teacher (BS-14): 03 vacancies (Punjab, Sindh-R, and ICT quotas). Requirements include Matric with a three-year diploma in vocational sewing, tailoring, wood work, metal work, or Fine Arts. For female applicants, a 2-year diploma in cutting and embroidery is also acceptable.
- Prosthetic Orthone Technician (BS-11): 02 vacancies (ICT merit). Applicants need a Matric certificate and three years of relevant experience in a well-organized institution.
- Mobility Instructor (BS-11): 01 vacancy (ICT merit). Candidates must have FA/FSc and at least 2 years of teaching experience in schools specifically for the visually impaired.
- Driver (BS-04): 05 vacancies (Punjab, Sindh-R, Sindh-U, Balochistan, and KPK). Applicants must be Primary pass, well-versed in traffic rules, and possess a valid HTV Driving License.

- Deadline: Applications must be submitted within 15 days from the date of the advertisement's publication.
- Test Fee: A fee of Rs. 500 will be charged per candidate for each post applied for.
- Test Center: All tests and interviews will be conducted exclusively in Islamabad.
Important Terms and Conditions
- Quota Reservations: In addition to regional quotas, the government policy of 10% for women, 5% for minorities, and 2% for disabled candidates will be strictly observed.
- Age Relaxation: A general age relaxation of 5 years is applicable, alongside other relaxations admissible under federal rules.
- Departmental Candidates: Those already in government service must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the interview.
- Documentation: Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original academic and experience documents during the interview process.
- Travel: No TA/DA will be provided for candidates appearing for the test or interview.
