Required Qualifications & Vacancy Details
The bank is looking to fill the following two positions in its Information Technology division.
1. Unit Head – Innovation & Enablement (AVP/VP)
This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Wing Head – IT Services & Enablement. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker responsible for defining and leading the bank’s SOA-driven innovation strategies. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering, with a Master’s degree being an advantage.
A minimum of six years of experience in the field of IT is mandatory, out of which at least three years must be in managing IT Innovation and Enablement, with a specific focus on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). The candidate must have strong knowledge of Middleware, SOA design principles, APIs, and relational databases (RDBMS). Responsibilities include overseeing teams, driving the integration of emerging technologies, managing key projects, and cultivating a culture of innovation.
2. Enablement Coordinator (OG-II / OG- I)
This is a crucial coordination role, reporting to the Unit Head – Innovation & Enablement. The role is designed to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that SOA solutions are adopted smoothly and effectively. The qualification requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering, with a Master’s degree being a plus.
A minimum of three years of experience in the field of IT is required, with at least one year of experience in IT Project Coordination involving ESB and/or SOA services. The candidate should have a sound knowledge of Middleware, SOA, APIs, and RDBMS. Key responsibilities include assisting in the coordination and support of technology solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering feedback to improve processes, and facilitating the integration of new technologies.
