Expert Tips for Applicants
- Read the TORs Carefully: The advertisement explicitly states that all candidates must read the Terms of Reference (TORs) on the website. This document will contain the detailed responsibilities and specific requirements of the job. Tailoring your CV to match the TORs is the most crucial step for a successful application.
- Highlight Your Certifications: For all IT positions, industry certifications like ITIL, MCSE, CCNA, and CompTIA A+ are either mandatory or highly preferred. Make sure these are listed prominently on your CV. For the Flight Inspection roles, your PCAA license or other aviation-related certifications are your most important qualifications.
- Follow the Application Procedure Precisely: The instructions are very clear: fill the online form, upload all required documents in PDF format, and pay the fee. Any deviation from this process, such as failing to upload a document or not paying the fee, will result in your application being rejected.
- Quantify Your Experience: Instead of just listing your duties, quantify your achievements. For example, “Managed an IT helpdesk serving over 500 users” or “Successfully maintained a network with 99.9% uptime.” This provides a tangible measure of your capabilities.
