For Civil Candidates:

Education: Minimum Middle (8th pass).
Age (as of 31 October 2025): 18–30 years (including relaxation). Preference will be given to candidates aged 18–22 years.

For Ex-Servicemen:

Education: As per Army rules/equivalent.
Age (as of 31 October 2025): As per regulations.

Physical Standards:

Height: 5’ 6” (minimum)
Chest: 33” with 1½” expansion
Weight: As per BMI / medical rules
