Required Qualifications & Vacancy Details

The following positions are available on a contract basis, initially for one year and extendable based on satisfactory performance. A competitive, market-based pay package will be offered.

News, Current Affairs & Production

A strong editorial and production team is being assembled. Key roles include one senior Reporter (8 years’ experience), ten News Editors (5 years’ experience), four Tickers Editors (5 years’ experience), and two Producers (7 years’ experience), all requiring a Master’s/Bachelor’s in a relevant field and excellent English communication skills. The team will be supported by two News Coordinators, one Coordinator, one Associate Producer, and four Researchers, all requiring relevant degrees and 3-5 years of experience.

Creative & Graphics (Vizrt & 3D)

To enhance the channel’s on-air look, a specialized graphics team is required. This includes two Viz Virtual Set Designers, two Viz Artists, one Viz Script/Programmer, two Compositors, and two 3D Animators. These roles typically require an Intermediate qualification with 3-5 years of specialized experience in their respective fields.

Technical & Engineering

A massive technical team is needed to run the broadcast operations. This is led by two Shift Incharge Technical (STVE) positions (BSc/BE Electronics/Telecom). They will be supported by a large team of 26 Associate Engineers (DAE Electronics/Telecom/Computer), 10 Associate Engineers (Electrical), and four Associate Engineers (Auto & Diesel). A Senior Electrical Engineer (BE/BSc Electrical) is also required.

IT, Network & MCR/PCR Staff

The IT and broadcast infrastructure will be managed by a team of 16 Network Staff (Associate Network Administrator) and 6 Network Staff for Archiving, both requiring an MCS/BCS with 3-4 years of experience. The on-air operations will be handled by two IT/Viz Executors for MCRs and twelve IT/Viz Executors for PCRs, both requiring an Intermediate with 2 years’ experience.

Production Support & Crew

The production crew is the backbone of any channel. PTV World is hiring a Chief Cameraman/D.O.P (15 years’ experience), a large team of 20 professional Cameramen (5 years’ experience), eight Boom Operators, and twelve Camera Assistants. The post-production team will include twelve NL Editors (Omneon) and twelve Post Production NL Editors. Seven Editors for Video Capturing & Publishing are also needed.

Makeup & General Support

To ensure on-air talent looks their best, a Makeup Incharge (8 years’ experience) and a team of eight Makeup Artists (3-5 years’ experience) are required. General support staff includes twelve Drivers (G-2) (Middle pass with HTV license, ex-servicemen preferred) and eight Naib Qasid/Spot Boys (G-1).

Sales & Marketing

Four positions are open for Marketing Officer (Traffic) in the Sales & Marketing department, requiring a Master’s/Bachelor’s in Marketing/Business with 5 years of experience in media sales.
