Expert Tips for Applicants

  • Highlight Your Certifications: If you hold certifications from AMPP (NACE), API, or TWI, ensure they are listed prominently in the qualifications section of your CV. This is a key differentiator mentioned in the advertisement.
  • Quantify Your Experience: Instead of simply stating your responsibilities, quantify your achievements. For example, “Managed the cathodic protection system for over 200 km of high-pressure gas pipelines” or “Reduced corrosion-related incidents by 15% through proactive inspection programs.”
  • Emphasize Public Sector/O&G Experience: Your experience in the Oil & Gas or public sector is highly preferred. Dedicate a section of your CV to detailing the projects and responsibilities you handled in these environments.
  • Tailor Your CV to the Job Description: Use keywords from the job summary like “pipeline integrity,” “cathodic protection,” “asset integrity,” and “inspection” throughout your CV to align your profile with the specific requirements of the role.
