As part of our expanding portfolio, TI Pakistan is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager Fundraising/Grants to strengthen donor relations, mobilize resources, and develop strategic alliances to support our programming and advocacy goals.

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager Fundraising/Grants will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, writing compelling grant proposals, managing donor portfolios, and building long-term partnerships with donors, NGOs, foundations, and corporate entities. The role requires excellent communication, proposal writing, and donor engagement skills, along with strong knowledge of Pakistan’s development and funding landscape.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties:

Fundraising Strategy Development:
- Design and execute a comprehensive fundraising and donor engagement strategy aligned with TI Pakistan’s vision.
- Monitor emerging trends in the donor landscape in Pakistan and internationally.
Donor Engagement & Partnerships:
- Identify, cultivate, and engage new partnerships with bilateral and multilateral donors, international NGOs, foundations, and the business sector.
- Organize donor visits, fundraising events, and engagement campaigns.
Proposal & Grant Writing:
- Prepare high-quality proposals, concept notes, donor reports, and grant applications.
- Develop proposals for training programs in line with TI Pakistan’s strategic priorities.
Donor Database & Communication:
- Maintain and update donor databases for effective relationship management.
- Ensure timely communication and reporting to all funding agencies.
Internal Coordination:
- Liaise with programme teams to ensure fundraising aligns with advocacy and operational needs.
- Support cross-department collaboration to maximize donor opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education: Master’s degree in Development Studies, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Liberal Arts, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of experience in grants, fundraising, or donor relations, preferably within a development sector organization.

Desired Skills

Proven track record of securing grants and managing donor portfolios.
Strong skills in proposal writing, budgeting, and reporting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to identify and explore new funding opportunities.
Proficiency in MS Office and digital fundraising tools.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet strict deadlines.
