Expert Tips for Applicants

  • Visit the Portal First: Before preparing your CV, your first and most critical step is to visit the official job portal jobs.smbbit.gos.pk. The portal will have the detailed Job Descriptions (JDs) and the specific qualification and experience requirements for each of the 47+ posts. Your application must align perfectly with these details to be considered.
  • Prepare Your Documents for Upload: The online application will require you to upload scanned copies of your degrees, certificates, CNIC, domicile, PMDC/PNC registration, and experience letters. Have these ready in a clear, readable format (preferably PDF) to ensure a smooth and error-free application process.
  • Tailor Your CV for the Specific Role: With such a wide variety of positions, a generic CV will be completely ineffective. If you are applying for “Consultant Emergency,” your CV must be a showcase of your emergency department experience and leadership. If applying for “CT Scan Technician,” you must detail your experience with specific CT scanner models and protocols.
  • Demonstrate Your Commitment to a New Facility: Be prepared for interview questions that probe your willingness and ability to work in a brand-new setup. Highlight your adaptability, problem-solving skills, and your enthusiasm for being part of a pioneering team that is establishing new systems and protocols.
  • Apply Well Before the Deadline: Online portals, especially for such a large recruitment drive, can slow down or crash due to heavy traffic near the closing date. To avoid any technical issues and last-minute stress, it is highly recommended to submit your application a few days before the July 30, 2025 deadline.
