Required Qualifications & Vacancy Details

The following positions are available on a contractual basis for an initial period of one year, which is extendable.

01. Pilot (Special Grade)

The VIP Flight is seeking one highly experienced Captain to command its aircraft. This is a role of immense responsibility, requiring a professional with a vast and proven track record. The candidate must have a minimum flight experience of 4,000 hours, with at least 2,000 hours of that experience on multi-engine jet or turbo-prop aircraft. A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) from the PCAA with a current instrument rating for multi-engine aircraft is mandatory. The pilot must also hold a valid PCAA medical certificate with no restrictions and have a clean accident record attributable to pilot error. The maximum age limit for this position is 54 years. To facilitate international travel, a valid B1/B2 USA visa is preferred, and experience in corporate jet operations and aviation security will be considered a significant advantage.

02. Chief Engineer (Special Grade)

This leadership position is for the head of the aircraft maintenance team. The candidate must hold a BE in Avionics or Electronics and a valid PCAA ANO-66 Aircraft Maintenance License in Category B2. A type rating on a multi-engine fixed-wing aircraft is essential. The role requires a minimum of eight years or more of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience and a thorough knowledge of PCAA rules and regulations. Advanced computer handling skills are preferable. The maximum age limit for the Chief Engineer is 40 years.

03. Deputy Chief Engineer (Special Grade)

Supporting the Chief Engineer, this role requires a professional with a BE in Aerospace, Electrical, or Avionics. A key requirement is a valid PCAA ANO-66 Aircraft Maintenance License in Category B1/B2 with NO LIMITATION from the PCAA. A type rating on any fixed-wing aircraft is essential, with a jet aircraft rating being preferable. The candidate should have advanced computer skills (MS Office etc.) and must be under the maximum age limit of 40 years.

04. Safety & Security Manager (Special Grade)

This critical role is responsible for the overall safety and security of the flight operations. The minimum academic qualification is a BA/BSc or a Master’s degree. Professionally, the candidate must be qualified in a Safety Management System (SMS) Course or a Flight Safety Officer (FSO) Course. A minimum of five years of aviation safety experience is required. An Armed Forces background with a minimum of 10 years of experience is highly preferable, as it brings a deep understanding of security protocols and discipline. Advanced computer handling skills are also preferred. The maximum age limit for this position is 55 years.
