Wheat Subsidy Program Update Farmers Expected to Receive Urea Payments in January
Relief for Farmers Under the Wheat Subsidy Program
The Wheat Subsidy Program continues to bring hope for farmers as new updates suggest that urea subsidy payments are likely to be released in January. This initiative is designed to support farmers by reducing the cost of essential fertilizers, especially during critical wheat-growing seasons.
The Sindh Government has officially scheduled the disbursement of urea fertilizer support under the Wheat Farmers' Relief Policy 2025-26. Verified farmers across Sindh are expected to receive their urea payments or bags starting from January 20, 2026.

This initiative is part of a massive Rs 58 billion package aimed at supporting small-scale farmers to boost wheat production and ensure national food security.2
