This is an invitation for individual consultants to serve as Key Professional Staff for this major infrastructure project, which is financed by the World Bank (IBRD), the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), and the Government of Sindh.

Required Qualifications & Vacancy Details
The PIU invites Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from eligible individual consultants for the following positions.
a. Environmental Specialist (01 Position)
- Qualification: Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field. Specialization in botany is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), and HSE&Q for large infrastructure projects. Experience with the World Bank, critical habitat assessments, and biodiversity management is a significant advantage.
- Contract Duration: Two (02) years, extendable based on performance.
b. Environmental Specialist (01 Position)
- Qualification: Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field. Specialization in zoology is preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in EIAs, EMPs, and HSE&Q for large infrastructure projects. Experience with the World Bank, critical habitat assessments, and biodiversity management is a significant advantage.
- Contract Duration: Two (02) years, extendable based on performance.
c. Social Development Specialist (02 Positions)
- Qualification: Master’s degree or higher in social sciences (e.g., development studies, sociology, anthropology).
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in community mobilization and engagement. Proven experience in preparing or assisting in at least 5 resettlement plans for infrastructure projects is crucial. Experience in urban settings and with IFI-funded projects is an added advantage.
- Contract Duration: Two (02) years, extendable based on performance.
d. Junior Financial Management Specialist (01 Position)
- Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (CA-inter, ACCA Part-Qualified, ICMA) are an advantage.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or audit, preferably in public sector or donor-funded projects. Familiarity with World Bank financial practices is highly desirable.
- Contract Duration: One (01) year, extendable based on performance.
