To be considered for this elite role, candidates must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a type rating on a commercial transport aircraft with a Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) of 40,000 kg or more. They must have logged not less than 5,000 hours as a Pilot-in-Command of such an aircraft and possess at least 10 years of experience as a commercial pilot. Crucially, applicants must have a Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE) or Type Rating Examiner (TRE) endorsement, or be an Instructor for a commercial aircraft with a similar MTOW. This ensures that the candidate has a deep background in training and evaluation, which is central to the inspector’s role. A background in airline operations, safety management, or compliance audits is a significant plus.

In addition to the pilot positions, the PCAA is looking to fill several key directorial roles. The authority is seeking a Sr. Joint Director IT (EG-06), who will be a cornerstone of the PCAA’s technology infrastructure. This role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 12 years of extensive experience in IT, including systems administration, network management, and application support, preferably in a well-reputed national or multi-national organization. This position offers a negotiable monthly salary of Rs. 406,725/-.

Similarly, a position for Sr. Joint Director Admin (EG-06) is available for a seasoned administrative professional. This role requires 16 years of education in Public Administration or a related field, and a minimum of 12 years of experience in a reputable organization, with expertise in general administration, procurement, logistics, security management, and handling estate and land matters. This position also offers a negotiable monthly salary of Rs. 406,725/-.

The authority is also recruiting two individuals for the role of Sr. Joint Director AAR (Ground Handling) (EG-06). This is a critical technical role for ensuring safety and efficiency on the ground at airports. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), and have 12 years of experience, with at least five years specifically in the operation of E/M equipment and dealing with ground handling and ramp operations. Experience with Aerodrome Safety Management Systems (SMS) is highly preferred. The pay for this role is also a negotiable Rs. 406,725/- per month.

Finally, the PCAA is seeking a Deputy Director Coordination & Support (EG-03). This role requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Public Administration or Aviation Management, and an overall experience of six years in a government or aviation industry setting, with at least three years in an administrative or executive support role. This position offers a negotiable monthly pay of Rs. 250,927/-.
